Have you or someone you care about ever been bullied?
If you
have,
you’ll appreciate what Dorthy Suskind,
PhD, and I discuss in the latest Environments,
Exposed
episode.
Bullying is an issue that has permeated human communities for ages, whether we are talking about internet bullies, bullying associated with racism, mob mentality across history (and herstory), witch trials, and more.
It’s a phenomenon that’s existed as far back as the books go, and probably much further. And it will continue until the collective steps up and does something about it.
I love Dorothy’s work because she combats bullying through her teaching and involvement in key policy changes in the US with regard to workplace dignity.
I highly recommend you go and read up on her work, especially this article on creative, sensitive people being bullied in the workplace.
Whether for you or someone you care about, having this info handy might just help you finally peel that “bully target” off your back (not that you were *ever* the one to put it there in the first place).
Bonus: If you’re interested in attending the workplace dignity event she talks about in this episode, here’s the link to that as well.
Thanks for joining us for this episode, and we look forward to hearing from you.
